WUMC Weekly Update: December 29, 2010

Begin 2011 In Church
Come this Sunday to Worship at the regular times: 9:30 am and 11:30 am. We will celebrate Epiphany, the journey of the magi and the Light of Christ shining into the world. Matthew says the magi followed the star to find the Christ Child; may we follow the Light of Christ in this new year, and find God's call on our lives.
End of the Year Giving
Members of your Finance Committee will be present in the church office on Friday, December 31, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm to receive any end of the year contributions you want to make. Please plan to bring contributions by Thursday, December 30, during regular office hours, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, or on New Year's Eve during the special hours the Finance Committee will welcome you.
Also please remember contributions that are postmarked December 31, 2010 will be considered 2010 giving even though they will be received in 2011. Thank you!

Please review this information and contact Linda (614-885-5365 or linda@worthingtonumc.org) if there are changes. You will be contacted again in January regarding scheduling. The responses were terrific!
