On April 27, the Administrative Council approved the Finance Committee's recommendation to address the projected 2010 Operating Budget deficit of $138,000 by reducing 2010 Operating Budget expenses by $68,000 and by raising an additional $70,000 for 2010 Operating Budget income. Over the next several weeks, a plan will be formulated to implement this recommendation.

New! The Carpenter's Helping Hands Ministry will help those folks connected to our church who can't afford or aren't able to perform basic household repairs, yard work and other maintenance chores, such as painting, cleaning, moving furniture, yard work, basic repairs, and simple installations. Volunteers are needed to do the work and administrative support. Contact Jerry Knorr at 614-436-4866 or jerryknorr@gmail.com for further information.

Bereavement Co-Chairs are needed to coordinate food and fellowship for families who gather at the church after a funeral or memorial service. Several teams are already in place and a leader or two co-leaders are needed to coordinate the teams when gatherings are scheduled. Attention Stephen Ministers! Please plan to be present in worship on Sunday, May 16 for the commissioning of our two new Stephen Ministers. On Monday, May 17 we will have a welcoming potluck at 6:30 pm, followed by our Service of Remembrance for our Care Receivers.

Today, Emerge Planning is at 6:00 pm and Elizabeth Circle Dinner is at 6:30 pm, offsite.
Tuesday, May 4, is Primary Election and polls are open 6:30 am-7:30 pm. Election Day Hospitality is 7:30 am-6:30 pm. Devotions are at 7:15 pm, followed at 7:30 pm by Evangelism, Trustees and Small Group Ministries Council meetings.
On Thursday, May 6, the CPC Pie Sale Pick Up is 3:30-7:00 pm, in the Commons.
On Saturday, May 8, Men's Breakfast is at 7:30 am, Knitters & Stitchers are at 9:30 am, and the Congregational Baby Shower for Rana is 2:00-4:00 pm.
