WUMC Weekly Update: April 19, 2010

Teacher Appreciation Sunday is this Sunday, April 25. We will honor those dedicated teachers who generously donate their time, talents, and enthusiasm to lead one of the many educational programs we offer to children, youth, and adults at WUMC. Each week, they open the door to faith development through the experiences they plan and the relationships they nurture within our faith community. Take time to thank a teacher you know for serving in this important ministry and join us for special refreshments during the fellowship hour between services on the 25.
Walid. Refugee Family Co-Sponsorship Panel
You are invited and encouraged to attend our panel presentation this Thursday, April 22, at 7:00 pm, in the Chapel to help prepare our congregational support for our next Iraqi refugee family, expected to arrive in May or June. Walid, part of last year's refugee family, and a representative from CRIS (Community Refugee Immigration Services, will be part of our panel. Read more about CRIS at www.cris-ohio.com. Please take the time to learn more about this important, life-changing, hands-on mission of our church. Join us on Thursday!
