The Martha Circle

So often we find ourselves running from one soccer game or band practice to the next dance rehearsal, school play, etc., and feel that there is never any time to engage in activities just for ourselves. Martha Circle members believe it is important to escape the hustle and bustle of busy daily schedules for a couple of hours a month, and to that end we meet regularly in Dixon Lounge to share fellowship with friends and nurture our own creativity. Our interests are varied and run the gamut from scrapbooking, cardmaking and art projects to knitting, embroidery and needlework. Although the goal of the group and our main emphasis is providing time for members to work on their own individual projects, we also engage in church projects from time to time—this year, for example, we completed the heritage scrapbook as part of the church‘s 200th anniversary celebration, and created an autograph/memory book as a farewell memento for Rev. Sipple.
