The DISCIPLE Bible Study program is designed to develop strong Christian local churches through the in-depth study of Scripture. Through DISCIPLE, persons are strengthened in their faith and guided into service and ministry. Strong, biblically nourished leadership will help your church grow in vitality and Christian discipleship.

    Disciple: What to Expect
What can you expect from the DISCIPLE program? Biblically nourished persons committed to live as disciples.

    • DISCIPLE assumes that the Bible is the key to renewal in the church.
    • DISCIPLE affirms that the canon was formed as it is in order for God to speak to us.
    • DISCIPLE aims at transformation, not just information.
    • DISCIPLE gives Old and New Testaments equal time, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as the revelation of God.
    • DISCIPLE draws on the work of scholars to aid understanding of the Bible.
    • DISCIPLE encourages group discussion of Scripture based on careful study and preparation.
    • DISCIPLE study groups move through the biblical story from Creation to the New Jerusalem. Persons taking part in this study are in training for servant leadership.
