Communion Stewards
Meets on as "as needs to" basis.
Communion Stewards are charged with the blessed obligation to serve the congregation by aiding the ministers to provide communion. Below is our schedule to serve for the year of 2010.

Steward Instructions
If a conflict should arises on your scheduled date, please notify me at 740-879-3233
as soon as you know, so I can arrange for substitute. If you note any few unfilled positions and you find you can help there, please let me know that as well.
Stations are positioned as you face the altar or front of the church. When the minister asks for the servers to come forward proceed to the front of the church and once given the elements, move to your positions. If you have the bread, you break off a piece and place it in the recipient's hand saying "Body of Christ given for you." If you have the 'wine,' as the recipient dips the bread into the cup, you say, "Blood of Christ given (shed) for you."
