"Easter is too early this year!"
"The daffodils may not even be up yet!"
"We may have to wear winter coats."
"It could snow!"
We all know the temptation to see Easter as a spring holiday. But deep down inside we know that Christ's resurrection is about more than spring. It is about God's commitment to bring life even out of death. That is to be celebrated by the friends of Jesus even if a blizzard strikes.
The power of the Resurrection isn't about fair weather; it is about God's resolve to work until our lives and all creation bear the beauty of God's will.
