Stewardship
The ad said, "Fall is the perfect time for planting." And it is
Fall is the time to plant something for the future. That is true for more than yards and gardens. It is true for churches, too.
We have been celebrating Worthington United Methodist Church’s two hundredth anniversary. Now, it is time to turn our passionate attention forward. We must plant now if the future is to be all that Christ is calling it to be.
Stewardship Sunday is about budgets – yes! But it is about more than that – It is about making a Christ-shaped future possible. For this we need every – every member and friend to do all that they can do. We need you. A Christ-shaped future depends on you.
